We have been having some amazing weather around these parts. This past saturday was projected to be around 70. And since Garrett was out of town, I decided to pack a picnic and head over to this place
The kids and I took the car on to the ferry and spent 35 minutes going across the sound. They LOVED it, to say the least. They all piled onto the front seat while we were in the parking lot waiting to board.
The kids just smiled all day. We really had a great time! I want to do it again this weekend it was so much fun!
We locked the car and went to the upper deck to get a better view of the scenery. The kids wanted the ferry to go faster, too bad that didn't happen!
We spent the whole day collecting rocks and shells, throwing things into the ocean and just playing. We got a few skinned knees and some sand in our shoes, but it was SO.MUCH.FUN!
Here are some misc. St. Patty's day pics. Our cute boy Brady eating his green french pancakes!
Sophie loves to help cook. No matter what it is she's helping! Just like her dad used to be at that age!
Eating green french pancakes (or crepes at someone else's house). The kids weren't sure at first, but then they decided they are their favorite. We'll probably have to color them green every time from now on.

And here we are spending some time at the UW Huskies home course. The kids can usually only last about a half hour and then they want to do something else. Lucky for them it started raining after only 10 minutes.
We are having so much fun and doing so many fun things. Life here in the Northwest is amazing. We have some really fun things planned for the next couple of months too.

And we are always, always working on our home. We have been knee deep in sheetrock and mud and insulation around here. And hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll be able to show you done pictures of our attic playroom. (Which i CANNOT for!)
If anyone wants to come and visit...we will welcome you with open arms! How could you not love these three kids? Before we all know it, they will be all grown up.
