A night in Spokane

We had some things to do in Spokane over the weekend so we decided to stay the night.  We went early in the day and played at the pool with the kids!  We have been really working on swimming with the kids this summer and they are getting better and better.  Swimming lessons will be happening this fall too.

We all swam, even Chloe and had a blast!

The kids have been LOVING the Olympics and everything revolves around them right now. Here the girls are posing.
Brady is a champ in the water.  BY FAR better than both girls.  He LOVES to dive for torpedos too.  He was having me throw them in the water near the stairs and was calling me his "olympic teacher."  He is really a cutie!

Here he is diving in.  Garrett would throw it out farther and farther in the water and Brady would jump off the stairs and Garrett would push him down and then help pull him back up.

LOVE creating memories with these cute kids!

Chloe at 5 months

Our little Chloe is 5 months old!  And still as cute as EVER!

Here she is modeling her swimsuit.  She is an amazing little girl.  Seriously always smiling and laughing.  She is LOVING to eat food and LOVES her siblings!

A Talent Show

So the kids signed themselves up for a talent show....no joke.  I got a call one night to confirm their talents and to make sure they were still planning to participate.  Hahaha!  Cute kids.

So we thought of some talents and went to practice.  They were so cute!

Brady signed up to do finger snaps...but he can't exactly to finger snaps...so plan B...spiderman moves.  He just got up there and did jumps and flips and somersaults.  It was hilarious!
Grace is awesome at the hulahoop, so that is what she signed up for.  She first did one, then did two at once.  She was amazing too!
And Sophie is our little drama queen.  She signed up to do a ballet dance.  So we (she) picked a song and went to work on it...but...she didn't want any of us at home to watch her practice.  Yup...going to be a rough talent show when she has to do it in front of all the other kids and parents.  Needless to say, she got about 10 seconds into her dance and started to cry.  Poor little girl.  Her good friend Charly saved the day though and they did a dance together!
Chloe and dad waiting for the show to begin!

LOVED every minute of it!

Happy 4th Birthday to Brady

Happy Birthday to our very special 4 year old!

I can't believe it either...how did 4 years go by already?
We had a little party with a few friends at a nearby park.  We ate pizza and yoda soda, ate cake, played "don't eat Yoda" and had a lightsaber fight!  It was fantastic!

Don't eat yoda.  Each kid took a turn hiding while the others decided which picture was the winner.  Then the kid who was hiding came back to the table and would eat each treat until they came to the winner...the all the other kids would yell, "don't eat yoda."  It was great!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the lightsabers!  The kids took off running from the pavilion and played with these for almost a 1/2 hour.  They were so cute!

They split themselves into teams based on color and fought a war!

 Here is the whole crew!
Happy Birthday little man!  We sure love you in the Clegg house!

Lake Couer d'Alene

Last week the kids and I headed up to the lake to meet some friends who were vacationing up there.  We packed up all our water toys, life jackets and picnic to share and made our way to spend the day in the sunshine and water.

It was a gorgeous day.  The kids were in the water all day long.  We went in the paddleboat and the "speed" boat for a cruise on the lake.  We played in the lake and in the pool and ate lots and lots of cookies.  The only thing that would have made it better was to have Garrett with us.
