FHE: Lewiston Lights

Lewiston has a great little light show around Christmas time.  It's no Temple Square, but we'll take what we can get!

We really just love doing things together as a family and this was no exception.
We first made a stop at Costco for dinner then ran around enjoying the lights and posing for pictures.

Meet Cookie

YES we did!

Cookie Clegg
Born Sept 5, 2013
5 weeks old

We puppy sat for a few days and actually brought two little guys home with us...contemplated keeping them both, but decided on this little guy because he was so calm and even tempered.  He's a chihuahua after all.  The kids wanted to keep one so badly that they even paid for him with money from their allowance jars.  He's officially a part of the Clegg household!

Halloween and Carving Pumpkins!

Happy Halloween!
From...
a baby unicorn
(who threw up all over Garrett and the kids on our way to WSU's kids carnival)

a big kid unicorn
(yeah...that was a tricky costume to make)

the wicked witch
(who was also a ballerina, a princess and a kitty by the time the halloween parties were over)

and BATMAN
(who didn't mind that his costume was actually a pair of pjs and a homemade cape)

We went all out again this year with our pumpkin carving!  The kids picked out what they wanted and we spent family night working away!  They turned out pretty cool!

Of course Brady chose Batman

Sophie's kitty

Grace's unicorn

and Chloe's Hello Kitty

Mom and Dad's
GO COUGS

I also attended the girls' Halloween festivities at school too.

Grace's class made a pinata for their party.  They worked on it over a two week period.  It was amazing!

I spy a white and orange unicorn somewhere in that pile!

Sunday at the Park

Sundays in the fall are perfect!  We take a lot of family walks on these days!
Today we headed over to Sunnyside park to enjoy the last few warm days and the beautiful fall colors.

Of course we had to make a pile of leaves for the kids to jump in to...Who doesn't love that!?!?

This kid will make a weapon out of anything!  Today it was a make-shift bow and arrow!  I love his imagination!
