A Baptism

I can't believe that our first born turned 8 and can now be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

YEAH FOR GRACIE!!!

Both Garrett's parents and Rachael's parents came into town to share this special day with us.

We prepared for this day for a long time.  Garrett did a weekly interview with Grace for a month prior and he helped Grace teach our family a FHE lesson on baptism as well.

Grace decided that she wanted her two grandma's to give the talks on baptism and the Holy Ghost and she wanted her two grandpa's to say the prayers.

She called them each and asked them her "special" question. They did fantastic.

We had a rainbow theme and did a fruit tray with orange fruit dip, cupcakes with rainbow polka dot liners and CTR cupcake toppers and Grace requested orange sherbet, so that is what we had.  We also had a big bowl of starburst in rainbow colors too.

It was a great day and we are so very proud of our little Grace!
