Seems like every September there is a reason to make a quick little trip to SLC.
This is the 2nd year I have taken the kids, by myself, on the 12 hour one-way journey to visit our Garrett's family for a short 3 days!
This year we wanted to attend Henry Ashton's baptism. So we loaded up the car, grabbed a good friend to make the journey enjoyable and headed out early Wednesday morning.
We had a great time! We spent a lot of time up in Eden and Liberty Utah. We played and picnic'd at Liberty Park, went swimming, canned peaches (over 90 quarts), and spent an afternoon playing at This is the Place Heritage Park. And we were able to share in Henry's special day when he was baptized and confirmed a member of the mormon church!
It was a great trip!
Peaches for you and Peaches for me!
This is the Place Heritage Park was a blast.
We crafted, panned for gold, road a train, took a horse for a spin and got wet in the splash pad.
